This Palmerston Village charmer is a treat to the senses from start to finish. The uncomplicated Acadia ambiance is pure class and the food’s presentation an artful exercise under the watchful eye of Patrick Kriss, of Splendido fame. The menu is composed of an extremely pleasing medley of flavours and textures. The five-course tasting option is a favourite, for the opportunity it affords diners to sample widely. Savoury cornbread with whipped pork butter and mesquite provide delicious punctuation to the procession of courses. Portions are sensible and quality is paramount. Acadia’s cocktail list is sophisticated and creative. Service is attentive without being suffocating.
