Originated in 1996 and located in the heart of Cabbagetown, Omi Japanese restaurant offers a great variety of dishes and regional specialties. Relaxed diners can meet up with friends at one of 10 tables or eat solo at the long counter that runs down the side of the citrus-hued room.

Facilitated by a friendly, professional and knowledgeable service team, our food is sourced from top quality seasonal ingredients, featuring a high percentage of local products that have been traditionally prepared. Our specialties include decadent dishes such as, lobster cucumber rolls, sweet potato fish, and scallop pizza. Every item on the plate is delicious and fresh, right down to the gari, white pickled ginger. With lunch specials, each day brings a different selection of rolls, nigiri and, as the server explains, a little “something extra". Other lunch items include beef ribs, spicy chicken and grilled salmon specials. Our romantic, casual and inviting setting is ideal for enjoying a fabulous dinner, but even though romance is in the air, the environment is still lively full of music and energy.
